The Operation
Founded in 2019 as a one-person business, we've grown to a dedicated team working with clients in highly specialised and niche sectors across the globe. From the very beginning, our focus has been on delivering exceptional value to both clients and candidates — with speed, precision, and professionalism.
We know the world of recruitment has changed. The days of posting a job advert and waiting for the right responses are long gone. We take a proactive approach — actively headhunting top talent, reaching out to individuals within our network and beyond to present them with opportunities they may not have otherwise considered. This gives our clients access to high-quality candidates who aren't actively job hunting, reducing the time positions remain unfilled and ensuring a strong return on investment.

Ben Stamp
Over 10 years in recruitment, partnering with organisations from small start-ups to global OEMs. Focuses on OEMs, automotive consultancies, and aftermarket diagnostic companies.
I successfully built a remote team of around 30 professionals for a U.S.-based company, with team members spanning from New York to California. This initiative enabled my client to accelerate growth and enhance customer support capabilities nationwide.
Patrick Hopper
Began his professional career in law enforcement, specialising in intelligence-led policing. Transitioned to the private sector in 2023 — the only headhunter in the Western world who specialises in the ADAS aftermarket.
A key ongoing achievement is my partnership with a leading ADAS calibration company, where I have helped them expand from one state to over twelve in less than a year. This success is mirrored across other clients, where I have supported growth from three states to seven within six months and helped traditional calibration businesses expand into mobile operations by sourcing leaders with the right mix of technical knowledge, proactiveness, and customer service. Several of my clients have recently leveraged this meteroic growth into successful exits.
Olivia Reger
Over a decade in the automotive industry before moving into recruitment. First-hand knowledge of the challenges faced by both employers and candidates across customer-facing, aftersales and operational roles.
Leveraging my automotive background, I have built a strong network across the motor trade and become a recognised voice within the industry. Through a combination of industry knowledge, relationship building, and proactive headhunting, I have successfully supported clients in securing difficult-to-find technical, aftersales, and leadership talent across multiple automotive sectors.
Steve Girdlestone
Extensive career in law enforcement, including Special Operations — honing investigation, attention to detail, and performing under pressure. Has lived and worked in multiple countries.
Leveraging my background in specialist law enforcement roles, I apply analytical and interpersonal skills to connect high-performing sales professionals with leading organizations, consistently delivering results in time-sensitive conditions.
